Benefits of Wind energy
Wind energy has multiple benefits:
- Clean energy that does not produce atmospheric emissions or other pollutants.
- Installation on sites inappropriate for other uses, for example in desert areas, in coastal areas or on arid slopes too steep for cultivation.
- Co-exists with other land uses, such as grazing or low-growing cultivations including wheat, maize, potatoes, beetroot, etc.
- Job-creation in assembly plants and installation areas.
- Its use in combination with other forms of energy, usually solar energy, allows housing to be self-sufficient in energy thus creating independence from the national grid if required.
